Ben Slowey is a Milwaukee journalist whose work focuses on the intersections of community, creativity and social justice. Originally from the south Chicago suburbs, he graduated from UW-Milwaukee in journalism and is a writer for Wisconsin Muslim Journal. When he’s not writing, Ben can be found catching local live music, hiking, birdwatching, or on the couch watching movies with his cat Pippa.
