1. Unconscious Bias
What are your assumptions about Muslims and where did they come from?

If you witness racist statements or Islamophobic remarks when you are with family, friends, or in social settings, media or online don't be silent. Silence is complicity.
4. Experience Interfaith Dialogue
Face-to-face interactions often dismantle prejudices through the commonalities of being human. It can also lead to lifelong friendships or bring communities together in unexpected ways.
5. Show Your Solidarity
When Muslims are facing scrutiny and racism due to broad generalizations or misinformation. Stand up for what is right and just.
6. Patronize Muslim Businesses
Visit Muslim restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and other institutions. Invite your friends who might have never been to a Muslim establishment.

Support colleagues or classmates who need accommodations for prayer, dietary needs or Ramadan.
8. Attend Muslim Events
Break a fast with Muslims during Ramadan, attend a lecture or cultural event, or visit an Eid celebration.
