Filling the Gap
Wisconsin Muslim Journal (WMJ) is an independent, online news service producing over one hundred feature stories a year.
In its sixth year, it is the first media group to report on the American Muslim experience in the greater Milwaukee area and throughout Wisconsin.
Building an Archive
Our professional journalists report on local entrepreneurship, social issues, political activity, Islamic arts and people of interest in the Muslim community.
WMJ is a ground breaking project of the Muslim Women’s Coalition, developed and curated to give equal share and agency in the media to Muslims.
Audience
Established in 2018, WMJ is read in 58 countries by both Muslims and non-Muslims. According to Google Analytics, the largest readership segment is individuals aged 35 to 44, with an equal distribution between male and female audiences.
