I was born in the US and grew up in Nigeria until the age of 15, I graduated from an Islamic School in Milwaukee, I attended University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and graduated with a major in Global Studies. I am Nigerian/American and speak Hausa and English fluently. I am a muslim woman, a mother and a wife. I currently work as the Youth Development Director with the Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition. My goal is to continue to empower our muslim youth with the best islamic values. This organization aligns with many of my goals, I wish to with the help of the MMWC see a future of confident, resilient, future outstanding members of our society.
